The MY HERO Global Learning Circles, run in partnership with iEARN (International Education and Resource Network), are a place where educators and students from around the world collaborate on the topic of heroes. Teachers can enroll their classes twice a year (in September and January), with the next session beginning in September 2025.
Â
This year, MY HERO are providing a new structure for students around the world to connect and work on projects as a team. There will be two sessions to choose from, one 5 weeks long, and the other 16.

Students participating in the 5-week session will become judges in the MY HERO International Film Festival, viewing and voting on the finalists in the People’s Choice Award. In doing so, they will not only learn about the heroes featured in the films but think critically about what makes a good short film.
Â
The 16-week session gives students the opportunity to create their own project based on their personal hero. With tools provided by MY HERO, they create a story, artwork, or short film about their heroes to share with their global partners.
Â
The circles are formed with students from 6-8 global classrooms and together they work on projects about those who inspire them... their heroes. The result is authentic student work and true international collaboration.
Â
Past sessions of the Learning Circles include teachers from the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Senegal, Taiwan, Poland, Mexico, Slovenia, Ukraine, Iran, Moldova, Tunisia, Romania, Georgia, Algeria, Canada, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Pakistan, Sierra Leone and South Africa.
Â
The next session of the MY HERO Learning Circles will start in September 2025
Last day to register is September 30, 2025
